Greetings from Liz Walters

Hello!

My name is Liz Walters. Over the years I've served on MPT international peace teams to Haiti, Gaza, and the West Bank. Also I've serve on numerous MPT domestic peace teams. Now it is a delight for me to be able to share with you that I will be a part of the soon-to-happen MPT exploratory team to Juarez, Mexico.

As I prepare for our work in Juarez, I am thankful to be a member of such a wonderful exploratory team. We will have much to share with you in the days and weeks ahead. As always your support and good energy during our peace team efforts will be deeply appreciated!

My name is Renee', and I am an Adrian Dominican sister. I'm looking forward to going to Juarez with Michigan Peace Team to explore possibilities as a more permanent peace team. We'll be leaving soon, and we'll try to keep you posted on our activities. I hope you'll check in on us at this blog!

Jose while recuperating from CA treatment last February in the sunny and warm DR. The smile is an expression of happiness remembering the miserable cold and slippery weather he left back in MI. Snowbirds return when Spring has taken a hold and snow is but a dream.

Training Scheduled Oct 23-25th

Team training reatreat dates have been scheduled for October 23-25th for the Juarez team, and they will also have lots of prep work and training to complete outside of our retreat weekend. Thanks to everyone involved in making this team happen.
